Chelonia

Chelonia Eco-Adventures

Looking for an out of the ordinary experience for your child?  Discover Eco-Adventures -- age appropriate
science and biology programs including hands-on presentation with live animals, interactive activities that emphasize the environment and conservation, arts and crafts, snack and/or science lab. Programs appropriate for ages 3-12.  Upcoming session themes include Creepy Crawly Craziness, Hip Hip for Herps, Sharks: Out of the Deep, and Terrapins in the Bay. Learn valuable tips and develop a plan for managing such chronic health issues as Diabetes with the help of ths special program developed by Stanford University and Northern California Kaiser Permanente.  Cost for each series is $40 and includes textbook.  Scholarships are available.

Financial_Futures_Now

Financial Futures Now was founded to teach children about becoming financially free.  The company offers camps, after school programs, and a variety of educational resources to teach kids the ABC’s of making, saving, sharing and investing money. Founder Vanessa Bright is an Adjunct Professor at the Univeristy of Maryland.

Mission Statement: Financial Futures Now (FFN) is an organization dedicated to educating America’s youth on the basic principles of financial literacy and providing them with the skills to become financially free and fiscally responsible adults.

Language_Advantage

Language Advantage -  Foreign Languages for Kids

Language Advantage is bringing Spanish to children ages 3-12 as well as  Mandarin for children 8-12 here to SPCC during the school year and will offer mini and full day camps this summer.

  • Spanish for ages 3-5 is available Saturdays 11-11:55am and Mondays 11-11:50am.
  • Spanish for ages 6-9 is available Saturdays 12-12:55pm and Mondays 12-12:50 pm
  • Spanish for ages 10-12 is availabe Mondays from 1-1:50pm and again from 6-7pm
  • Mandarin classes for Homeschool Helping Hands meet on Fridays 9-9:50am for ages 8-10 and 11-11:50am for ages 10-12
