Retirement Plan(s)

The balance of your retirement plan may be worth more when donated to the Severna Park Community Center than to your heirs.

                      SPCC_retirement

How it works
1. You name the Severna Park Community Center as the beneficiary of your IRA, 401(k) or other qualified plan.
2. Any residual left in your plan when you die passes to the Severna Park Community Center tax-free.

Benefits
• You can escape both income AND estate tax levied on the residual left in your retirement account by leaving it to the Severna Park Community Center .
• You can continue to take withdrawals during your lifetime.
• You can change your beneficiary if your circumstances change.
• You can elect to leave retirement plan assets to the Severna Park Community Center  through your will or revocable trust instead.
• You can have the satisfaction of knowing that your hard-earned retirement assets will support the Severna Park Community Center  when you are gone.

How to include SPCC in your retirement plan:
• Request a beneficiary form from your retirement plan administrator or financial advisor
• Identify the Severna Park Community Center as a beneficiary of your IRA or 401k
• Include the SPCC tax ID numbers on your beneficiary form XX-XXXXXXX
• Return the completed form to your retirement plan administrator or financial advisor
• Provide a copy of your completed beneficiary form to the SPCC development office.
